Process

I approach every project I work on with the same amount of vigour and enthusiasm.

TRIED &
TESTED

Doing what I say I’ll do is something that I pride myselves on. I have busy clients that rely on me to deliver the goods, and I always do.

ASSESS

Before I do anything, I listen. Through clear communications and digging questions, I gain a deep understanding of my clients’ business situation. Then I watch their competition, what they do, how they do it and where they put their flag in the ground. I look to position my clients in a place where the competition is not, and with a message that is genuine and authentic.

  1. Observe situation
  2. Interview staff
  3. Understand the audience
  4. Establish goals
  5. Create timeline
INVENT

Here is where the problem solving gets rolling. I take my understanding of my client’s market realities and explore ways to differentiate from the competition. I work past preconceived notions to fresh ideas and new realities. The questions don’t stop, they just get more focused.

  1. Competitive visual audit
  2. Investigate examples
  3. Incorporate research
  4. Collaborative brainstorming
  5. Discuss opinions
CREATE

Every project and client is unique. The structure of my work takes many forms. Whether it’s a white paper, print piece, website, or broadcast, no two executions are alike.

  1. Develop ideas
  2. Design concepts
  3. Project specifications
  4. Present prototype concepts
  5. Gather feedback
  6. Refine and approve
PRODUCE

I build off of an agreed-upon plan, structure and message. I deliver detailed prototypes, specifications and production schedules intended to uncover problems well before I reach this expensive and time-sensitive stage. I take great pride in my work by managing every process from art creation to messaging, physical construction to user experience testing, consistency to differentiation.

  1. Implement final solution
  2. Monitor quality
  3. Test and confirm
  4. Turn over deliverables
MANAGE

Communication is an ever changing landscape. In addition to monitoring what I have built, I am always looking for ways to extend the conversation, broaden my clients’ reach and assure return on investment.

  1. Implement final solution
  2. Monitor quality
  3. Test and confirm
  4. Turn over deliverables
